Design’s for a Better World
Our DE Designs for a Better World Team works to provide our staff with opportunities to get involved and make a difference in the lives of others. Our team volunteers to make contributions of time, money and kindness as often as we can. We are rewarded with the spirit of camaraderie and compassion that comes with working together to help those in need. Below is information about just a few of the charitable organizations that have touched the lives of family and friends of Direct Export.
American Cancer Society
We are the Stormin’ Normans and we dedicate the McKinney, Texas, Relay For Life to Kristi Norman in her battle against cancer! Cancer touches all of us and, too often, leaves misery in its wake. So, the owners, employees, and families of Direct Export Company are making a difference by walking and raising money in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life McKinney event. Our team will camp out overnight and take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society in the world’s largest fight against cancer.

Wounded Warrior Project
The Wounded Warrior mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. Our purpose is to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured service members aid and assist each other and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members. Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) takes a holistic approach when serving warriors and their families to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement.
